Winner of the 2005 National Civic Star Award: In February 2005, our community project in partnership with LTPS and the Lawrence Neighborhood Service Center (LNSC) was one of 27 projects to receive the 2005 National Civic Star Award from the American Association of School Administrators for its success in bringing the local school system into closer contact with underserved children and parents.
