ECV Leadership meets with NJ State Leadership

NJLead Fellows ECV Executive Director Kiya King Green and NJ Lt Governor Caldwell discuss mission driven work across the state.

Annual Lay Day at Greater Mt. Zion AME Church brought together community leaders and public servants, including Every Child Valued Executive Director Ms. Kiya King Green, New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale G. Caldwell and Attorney General-elect Ms. Jennifer Davenport, for a powerful day of reflection and connection in Trenton.

Lieutenant Governor Caldwell delivered an inspiring message on answering one’s calling, emphasizing service, obedience to purpose, and being willing to say “yes” even when the path isn’t fully clear.

A meaningful connection was also made through Lead New Jersey, as both Lt. Gov. Caldwell and Ms. Green, Executive Director of Every Child Valued, are LeadNJ Fellows. Their conversation highlighted Ms. Green’s leadership work with Every Child Valued and the Trenton Housing Authority and opened the door for continued collaboration, reinforcing the importance of staying connected to people doing mission-driven work across the state.
